| - so the Palms is for trendy people. My husband and I are not trendy people in the slightest, and we went to Little Buddha with a restaurant.com certificate thinking we'd get a good deal. We felt massively out of place and unwelcome here, but this isn't exactly a place that caters to locals, obviously.
This is the first restaurant I have ever been to that actually employed a DJ to spin massively awful music. If I wanted to go to the stupid nightclub, I would have gone. I just came here to eat, not to barely be able to hear my husband and my waiter talk. THE POINT OF GOING TO A RESTAURANT IS TO BE SOCIAL, NOT TO LISTEN TO STUPID CLUB MUSIC.
okay, that's my rant. Christ, the food is good enough, you'd think that focusing on serving good food would take precedence before style, but not this place.
Anyway I'm giving this place two stars just on the food alone, as my grilled salmon was incredible. My husband ordered the orange chicken and liked it, but you can go anyplace and get orange chicken, right? No point in going to this trendy trashy place. We also ordered a carafe of the sangria (sangria in an asian restaurant, funny) that we liked a lot.
