On a daughter's recommendation I had my first meal at this hidden gem in downtown Glendale. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our server spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is huge (about 100 items- you order by number) so it can be a little confusing understanding the differences between even just the soup cboices! In the end we all ordered soups and they were very large portions but chock full of noodles and meat and a good size plate of veggies to toss in. It was a lot of food! And very good!
It's a small restaurant but we didn't feel crowded at all and enjoyed our view at the window.
The only down side for me was that I'm pretty sensitive to different foods etc and I got pretty bloated later in the day. I'm gonna guess it was the salt in the soup. Next time I think I'll try one of the rice plates. ..they also looked yummy.
