My hiking friend and I stopped here after a weekend hiking in the white mountains. The pasty menu is very extensive, so it took some time in choosing which one to get.
I finally decided on the peppered steak. The server asked me if i was OK with Stilton cheese (similar to blue), and I assured her that was fine. The pasty was very tasty, with numerous slices of tender steak, caramelized onions, portobello mushrooms and zucchini. The aforementioned cheese was just the right amount. I also looked the side of brandy peppercorn cream sauce.
The service was a bit slow, but other than that, it was a great find. I'll definitely add this to my list of places to eat when I'm ever back in the valley of the sun.
