  • Decent hotel in an industrial park on the east side of Madison. I've stayed here a handful of times, usually on Badger Football weekends as it is one of the places that for some people seem too far from campus when the reality is that it is less than 10 miles and has the added benefit of being right off the interstate so I save time on Sunday morning when I'm heading north back to Minneapolis. Like others have said, I've found this hotel to be very welcoming with friendly and attentive front desk help. One of the bonuses of this place is that it has a bar just off the lobby which is also staffed with friendly people. Maybe it is just Madison - it is such a great place to live perhaps it rubs off on the locals. In any case, I enjoy this hotel and find it clean and well appointed for a short stay in Mad City.
