  • They let someone open an account in my name and never checked their I.d. I originally disputed this in 2012 and it was supposed to be resolved. Now that I'm trying to buy a house I found out Cox has a different collection agency and they reopen the collection. I sent the police report and I sent the fraud packet but in my complaint to the Better Business Bureau they responded that I never sent the police report or fraud packet. Cox has these guys in Walmart trying so hard to make the sale they'll do anything they'll tell you anything you want to hear and apparently they will even help to commit fraud just to make a sale. All they really had to do was check this person's ID and it would be easy enough to tell it's not me.
