I initially booked my rental car through Costco/Budget but swtiched to Hertz due to the bad reviews. I was out in Vegas for 2.5 days with my wife and friends. Total was $73 including tax for an intermediate through the AAA cdp as I am a member. All options were declined.
I used Hertz gold plus service and would suggest the same. Pickup was a breeze as I was emailed the stall number and it was also listed on their electronic board. It took less than 10 minutes to get to the rental car and exit the facility. Our intermediate selection was a Kia Optima with around 17k miles on it. It drove nice, had a backup camera and also bluetooth for convenience.
Returning the car also took around 5 minutes. An attendant checked us out immediately at the dropoff area. I would use Hertz again, recap below.
- Sign up for Hertz Gold to skip the lines
- Check promo codes/AAA for deals
- Check your credit cards as some offer rental car coverage before reserving
