| - I've seen Dr. Lomax twice now, and each time I've felt he properly listened to my concerns and was satisfied with his treatment plan. Unfortunately, his office staff has made each visit unforgettable in an unfortunate way.
Firstly, I waited two hours or so before I could get back on my first visit. That was annoying enough, and then the office staff proceeded to have an attitude with me because I didn't fill out my paperwork ahead of time online, because I booked through zocdoc. Whatever. My insurance cards and drivers license were then physically scanned into their system to put in my file, but when I came back for my second visit, there were no copies to be found. Where did they so carelessly place my php? So glad that they pay attention to that kind of stuff.
Prior to informing me they needed to get a 2nd copy of my insurance, they casually let me know I needed to sort some stuff out with my insurance prior to coming back, because when they billed my insurance for last visit there was an issue. So...you've known about this problem for a month, but couldn't be bothered to call and inform me so that I could fix this problem ahead of time and not have to spend 30 minutes on the phone before you could take me back? Awesome. So now they've received two copies of two insurances, on two different occasions, but of course they need the same exact copies for a third time when I went in for the third visit. "It didn't scan in correctly". That's fine, but how about informing me before I leave your business, so that we don't have to play this waiting game every time I come in. I'm pretty over the office staff and hope they get it together soon. Not sure how difficult it is to communicate properly with your patients. If I wasn't pleased with Dr. Lomax, the office staff would definitely be enough to send me to another Dr.
