When we arrived at 7.30pm on a Saturday the restaurant was already busy. Once seated you are given the option of customizing your own poutine or selecting from a menu where there is a recommended list of combinations.
Mainly because I'm not good with making decisions I went for an already tried and tested menu option from the speciality poutines called the Farmers Delight. This came with crushed potatoes, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, cheese curds topped off with a delicious gravy. The portion size is very generous and it isn't just filled with the golden brown crispy potatoes, there was plenty of juicy tomatoes and meat. I was full about a third of the way in. Perfect comfort food for a wet chilly day!
