| - Even after reading mixed reviews about the customer service here, I decided to refer this dealership to mu gf after viewing an immaculate 2014 Audi A4 online. The car was in excellent condition and priced great. She already had financing so all we had to do a test drive and go practically. She scheduled her appointment online via chat which was a breeze. We arrived at our appointment time and were greated by a very nice gentleman whose name I can't recall. So my gf told him she was there to meet Darrin. We were walked over to Darrin who greeted as as well. We did the preliminaries and then went outside to test drive the car. This is when the shift occurred. As we were looking at the car, I asked if this model was included in the air bag recall. As we know, many A4s were and although the Carfax checked out a buyer should always ask questions. He responded with the typical salesman jargon about all cars being tested etc but I felt his tone was a bit off. Anyhow, we moved past it, hopped in the car and took off on the test drive. I was in the back and jokingly I said to my gf "you should punch it!". Darrin then says "this is an A4 not an A8 sweetheart". First of all, I'm not a novice to cars. I currently drive a luxury German suv and I've owned several others prior to this one. So I do know a lot about cars aside from aesthetics. Even though the sweetheart comment was a bit unprofessional, I laughed it off, told him I know and keep it moving. We make it back to the office and go on to proceed. Mind you, my gf had already told Darrin that she had financing and wouldn't need there's. Lo and behold, here comes the finance manager suggesting their financing and warranty package which she declined. I get it, that's their job to try. No biggie. The finance manager said ok and turned it back over to Darrin. Darrin comes over to seal the deal but is pushing the warranty. My gf then asked my opinion and I told her that she should do her due diligence and weigh that warranty against her bank's to insure it was apples to apples. Well, I guess Darrin was offended because he became snarky and told me he's been doing this for 30 years and I probably only do this every 3 years. Then he walked away to get more paperwork. I was sitting there quite livid. His tone and attitude was out of order. I wasn't rude to him nor was I talking to him. I don't care how long he's been a salesman. ANY buyer should do their due diligence! When he returned, I told him his tone and comment wasn't appreciated. I was there in support of my gf and if she asked my opinion I'm going to tell her. Long story short, he apologized. But whatever. We won't be back. The cars are great but the service is not.
