rev:text	i always have a lot of fun here. despite it's reputation, it is one of my favorite clubs in vegas. this could largely be due to the fact that my roomates and i have had some memorable, hilarious, and very "vegas" moments here, and because getting into VIP here is really easy, but it's also because.... 1) It has a lot of room. The venue itself is huuuuuuge- there is a smaller dancefloor in the middle that is somewhat elevated from the rest of the club, and there's tons of space around the dancefloor (where people still dance anyways). There are several different VIP areas that don't block any aisles or dance space like a lot of other vegas clubs. 2) The Ring of Fire. The characteristic attribute of Rain. Literally a huge ring of fire that drops down (seems like it's right over your head) over the dancefloor throughout the night. You can feel the heat from it. 3) The Music. The music is a good mix of top 40, hip hop, and dance/house, as well as classic rock joints ("Pour Some Sugar On Me," "I Love Rock & Roll") 4) The atmosphere. Fountains, water flowing down the walls, with the mix of fire and heat (i.e. "Rain in the Desert"). It has a sexy, dark, underground vibe to it that me and my girls really like. 5) The people. I think it's a good mix of guys n girls. A lot of guys I know say that it's a sausage-fest, but i don't think so. Everyone we've met there have been from all over the world and very positive. Not like Pure, which tends to (as well as its patrons) think it's shit don't stink. ERRONEOUS. 6) multiple bars. There's more than one main bar here, which helps even out the lines. I've never had to wait in line for a drink for more than 5-10 min. In vegas, or at any bar for that matter, that's a godsend. 7) free ticket to all other nightclubs at Rain. Once you get in, you'll most likely get a stamp or a pass to get into Moon, Ghostbar, and Playboy club that night after a certain time. Moon is a really fun club, a lot smaller, but still jumpin and a little more upscale than Rain. All in all, Rain is one big, raging college party. If you come to vegas to let your hair down, this is a MUST.
