A hotel listed as 3* that is actually 3* caliber, nice.
I stayed here using points since it's a little pricier than I can usually do, but the Choice points amount they ask (10k weeknights) is very reasonable for how nice the property is. Standard solid Comfort Inn rooms with big heavy wood doors everywhere for peace and quiet. Good WiFi and Comfort's usual Ethernet cable connection in room as well.
The free food element here is awesome -- nightly happy hour from 5 to 7 with free drinks and snacks, fresh peanut butter and choco chip cookies set out at 7, and breakfast selection in the morning is pretty robust. Plus snack gift bag and water bottles for Choice Privileges members at check-in. Lobby coffee a cut above the usual crap too.
Way away from all the Vegas madness, tucked in right next to the Sunset Station casino/hotel in Henderson. Aside from me the only people I saw staying here were families, senior couples and a group of nuns. No drunken stupidity out here. Fridge/micro in every room and a great location to save on food if you're staying multiple nights -- 99 Cent Only, Walmart and a Savers are all just a block away along with tons of restaurants of the more inexpensive chain variety.
Only nitpicks -- no bathroom ventilation fan, and the heavy wooden door has to be propped open with something or it will auto-shut and the bathroom will never dry out. That and the TV selection is just "meh", no HBO or digital guide :(. Not gonna dock a star for such petty things tho.
