  • I was diagnosed with breast cancer June of 2014. I went through the normal conventional treatment of chemo, bilateral mastectomy and radiation. Unfortunately, while conventional medicine may have a great treatment plan, they don't have much to offer for aftercare other than to tell me to lose weight and exercise. I knew that before I was finished with conventional treatment, I wanted to see Dr. Psenka with Longevity Medical Health Center. I was seeing a naturopath before the diagnosis and she highly recommended him to me. I have to say that ever since I walked into the door at Longevity Medical on Dec 3, 2014, I have felt like a part of the family. The staff care about me and I feel it every time I talk to any one of them in the office. They all know me by name, situation and bend over backward to help me with anything that I need. I am now getting Vitamin C IVs, cancer fighting supplements and Im seeing their Care Coordinator to help me with my eating plan/exercise plan to help prevent any cancer recurrence. The Care Coordinator even emails me weekly just to see how Im doing and encourages me. I talk to her about challenging situations I may have and she helps me work through them with different ideas so that I can stick to my plans. I can't get this type of care and attention with my conventional doctors and believe me... I have quite a few conventional docs. LOL Now I know that Longevity offers more than just cancer care, but this has been my experience with Dr. Psenka and staff. I know that once Im finished with my cancer aftercare I will continue going to Longevity Medical for my regular health maintenance. I would give them 6 stars if I could! They are truly THAT caring!
