I went here with a friend of mine recently..
The atmosphere is kinda like a crawfish joint.. has a bar.. has nice booth seatings.. The service was not bad as well. the parking is a PAIN in the butt tho... its always so busy in that shopping center so you literally have to circle around a bunch to shark for a parking spot.
So lets talk about the food.. One of the first things i ordered was the pork belly buns.. it was tasty but nothing mind blowing or nothing. priced at $10.
I ordered the coconut pork belly with boiled egg as my entree. Theres 3 big chunks of the meat and an egg. The pork belly was tasty but I would prefer it to be more tender! its on the chewy side. As a vietnamese person with having it made in my household.. its usually cut more on the smaller side and more tender! its priced at $13. It comes with a small bowl of rice and some pickled cabbage.
I also ordered the papaya salad with shrimp. its priced at $12. Its BARELY SPICY.... so if you're used to the thai style made papaya salad this is not anything like it. its ok tasting but not what I had expected. I had them adjusted it to more spicy.. which was okay i suppose but not what Im used to. kinda disappointed in this dish. I would say PASS on this dish.
my friend ordered the creme brûlée i believe and it was mediocre ..nothing that wows me. I had a taste of it ...but glad i didn't order it.
Overall I would say this place is okay in food but needs lots of improvements ...service is okay as well.. ambiance is alright. I would not bend over backwards to come here.. Im not too sure if i wanna come here in the future.. probably not. I'm just not wowed by this place... pricing is kinda high and food isn't amazing.
