Just in case anyone is paying attention to the reviews for Haven Homes, the house I have referenced and all it's attendent problems, is at 8774 Fountain Island Dr in the 89147 zip code. It's for rent again, (every renter has moved out when their contract is up, surprise) for roughly $1800. Just know, your electric bill will be in the thousand dollars a month area (old air conditioning, rotten windows and old pool pump that was fixed no less than three times when we lived there.) When your contract is up they'll offer you a new rent quote that will be around $200 more a month than your current rent, with contract. If you want to rent month to month they will offer a rent around $400 a month more than your current rate.
I'm giving them two stars because we had no issues getting our entire deposit back minus $150 for replacing some blinds that our dog stuck her head through so totally appropriate. We left the house spotless though so we should have gotten the deposit back. We didn't have to fight for it and it was returned quickly.
I'm updating the review to try to save someone from moving in, not realizing they're about to be raped by the electric company and then have insult added to injury when Haven Homes sets the rent bar so high you can't stay and have to pay deposits and moving expenses all over again. We have lived down the street from this house since we moved out and see the comings and goings and every time the year contract is up, people move out so the problems with the house and the rent increases must still be an issue.
