  • There are challenges in Madison finding a coffee shop with really good coffee, clean atmosphere, and attentive staff. The cafe at Metcalfe's suffers none of these. The staff is great, the coffee (True coffee roasters), is better brewed than that of True coffee locations (especially the one in Fitchburg). They also have tea and a tons of other specialty beverages I don't drink but maybe I'll expand my palate some day. Pete does a great job leading things and it's obvious he has a personal commitment to his work.
