  • STAY AWAY!!! I had a bridesmaid dress from twobirds; which is a tricky material to alter. Jean promised she could work with the material to shorten it. What I got was a dress that would be better suited to a thirteen year old girl the length was WAY too short! Being that I am in my 30s, this ONCE gorgeous dress is now rendered useless all because Jean couldn't realize what she is truly capable of. ON TOP of all of this she was going to CHARGE me for putting more of the material BACK onto the dress! I am not one for bad mouthing, and to be fair she had shortened another dress before this (another bridesmaid dress that was very simple)and she had done a good job. But I think people need to be warned when you are dealing with what you think is a 5 star seamstress compared to a 2-3 star at best alterations person.
