  • Tonight we ordered a "chicago style deep dish" pepperoni pizza. It was unlike any other I've ever had. It was basically just a 3 inch thick crust topped with your run of the mill bought in canned sauce, cheese and somewhat decent pepperoni. Over all the pizza was not a big hit. We also got a coconut cream pie as well, i hoped it would redem the meal... no luck. Where to start, the crust was very salty, the dough had also been very overworked, making it hard as rock and very dry. The coconut filling was bland and almost doughy. I would have preferred a frozen pizza and pie from safeway, and i wouldnt have had to pay $33 for it. Not worth it at all. I hate criticizing restaurants, because i like to hope that someone is putting their heart and soul into their products, but sometimes you have to hear the bad to be aware of what you need to do to be better.
