Left a message for John Stanley, the General Manager. Unfortunately, this may be the only way to get him to hear me since he wouldn't call me back. My wife drove there for a replacement battery, under parts warranty. The battery was purchased over the counter at Tempe Toyota. We could have produced a receipt with a simple call to Tempe. Regardless, because the battery was in an LX, Scott would not warranty the battery. Scott could have charged us labor and warrantied the battery off of the receipt. Instead, he send my wife and daughter home.
Didn't even try to sell them another battery to ensure they made it home.
Tomorrow, I will walk the battery into Tempe Toyota and they are going to warranty the battery with zero issues. I spoke with their parts department and an advisor who don't understand why it was such a problem.
