  • Situated in the heart of Yorkville, this little dessert shop is truly a great find. I discovered this bakery in search of something sweet when I was in the neighbourhood and I saw a modest sign sandwiched in between a couple of bars and restaurants. Who woulda thunk that at the top of those stairs was a shop that sold amazing cookies? I have an unbelievable obsession with their double chocolate chip banana walnut cookies and I have tried to replicate its moist cakey goodness in my own kitchen but I just can't get it exactly right. These cookies have the perfect amount of sweetness and mixture of chocolate and banana flavour. Balancing out its sweetness are the walnuts which also adds great texture to the cookie. Aside from cookies, the store also sells cupcakes, ice cream, cakes, truffles... a plethora of amazing sweets! Truthfully, I've only had the pleasure of trying their cookies and cupcakes - both of which were freshly baked and delicious. Overall, cute store. Friendly staff and good products. Prices are reasonable too. I always drop in and pick up some sweets to go when I'm in the neighbourhood. Note: Be careful with your cellphone cameras. They have signs posted around the store that say they do not want you to take pictures of their food in store.
