I got a gift card for a facial from my parents-in-law and I happily booked the appointment for a day off work this week. I showed up right on time and was told that the aesthetician I had booked had gone home sick.. unfortunately, through some combination of events, the salon did not have my phone number to call me to tell me. I had the choice of waiting just over an hour for someone else, or rescheduling... I chose to wait and went window shopping to kill time. I'm glad I stuck it out!
I regret that I do not remember the name of my replacement facialist. She was easy to talk to, friendly, and did a great job. i don't have a whole lot of experience with other people cleansing my face, but this was on par with the other facial I've had... I left feeling relaxed, clean, and smooth. She recommended a product for me which I purchased, and I'm excited for my coming weekly at-home masks!
When I checked out, they gave me $15 off for the inconvenience of rescheduling last-minute. I love that they were proactive about making things right.
