My fiancé and I have been finishing our attic and doing other home improvement projects for the past 2 years. We shop at hardware stores at least twice a week and have continually had bad experiences at this location of Home Depot.
(a) they station a vendor near the front of the store to ask people about upgrading heating systems. It would be fine if he had only approached us once or twice, or stood nicely by some brochures, but the same man has harassed us about heating systems at least 10 times.
(b) no one in the garden nursery can ever answer my questions about plants or soil, and no one helps me load the heavy items into the car (they do this at other Home Depot locations but not here)
(c) this morning my fiancé went to this location to rent a floor sander. He was told they are no longer renting the floor sander because it's up for sale. So my fiancé drove to the South Blvd location. South Blvd called Wendover and was told their floor sander has a "messed up handle" and can't be rented out because it's broken. So the employee at the Wendover location straight up lied to my fiancé.
This store may be fine for a gallon of paint or some duct tape or other small purchases, but if you actually want to interact with a friendly, honest, helpful employee, I advise going to another store.
