| - While visiting family in Arizona, they recommended we pick up some food from Crust to eat while watching the game on TV. Having a little trouble actually locating the restaurant using Google Maps, we finally found it nestled in the back corner of the shopping plaza. YAY, time to eat!!
We arrived to a very cozy pizzeria with limited staff. However, that did not limit their ability to deliver exceptional service with speed and accuracy. Having a family member with an actual gluten allergy, not just a hippie trying to be trendy, we were able to get a gluten free option for her to enjoy. We ordered a pizza with mushrooms and all I have to say is NOM NOM! The sauce had a light sweetness to it, probably from the type of tomatoes they use, and the crust was lightly salty; a great combination. It was covered in mozzarella that was simply out of this world.
Their prices were very reasonable, the restaurant was very clean, and they had a ton of great menu marketing on each table. I always appreciate seeing a company invest in menu marketing at the tables, because that tells me they are very proud of their food selections to meet all types of consumers.
Since we travel to Arizona quite a bit, we will certainly come back and most likely have a meal inside of their restaurant instead of doing takeout. This meal left my mouth watering for more yummy food!
