The place is in ruins. It all starts with a broken door handle, the front of the building (where the terrace was/is) looking miserable, and the general uncleanliness of the store. The problem is not a matter of bussing the tables or not. What I really mean is that this coffee shop looks like it's been abandoned: the walls, the ceiling, etc. It's a miserable dump. A quick look at Google reviews regarding the owner's numerous altercations with clients, and the fact that there is now (in 2016) a brand new 24/7 Second Cup a few blocks away at Ste-Catherine and Stanley makes a visit at 1602 Ste-Catherine unnecessary and entirely avoidable. Besides, it's not like they are the only option in the vicinity of Concordia University.
