We were at the airport and hungry!!! We were in Terminal D so stopped in here to watch the Astros play the Yankees.
We were seated promptly. The tables are pretty small which makes sense as you want more people in an area, but with everyone hauling their carry on luggage it can get fun trying to walk in the aisles. Be careful folks.
Each table had a device where you can press one of three buttons to get your waiter's attention, get the check and there was another button I can't remember what it was for. The server wore a wristband that would notify them of the table calling for service. Pretty cool since this place gets busy being at the airport.
We ordered the guacamole Barrio ($12.35). The menu states it is prepared table side. Our guacamole came out in a bowl already prepared. The server had cilantro all over the plates she handed us. The guacamole was good, but needed some salt. Definitely had a spicy kick to it that I appreciated. The salsa that was brought out was very tasty too! The tortilla chips were thick so it was easy to scoop up the guacamole.
The Michelada with Dos XX (asked for it extra spicy) was not bad at all. The server recommended that over the Bloody Maria. Good choice.
Overall, the place is good and of course any time you buy ANYTHING at an airport it will be at a higher price than other places outside the airport. The food wasn't bad at all. Good place to hang out at and watch the game. Must check out the murals in here. Pretty cool.
