  • I came to this dealership after finding a vehicle I wanted to look at online. I chatted online with the Internet sales associate, Andrea Walton. She was very nice. She asked me when I would come to the business and I told her it would be the following morning. The next morning I came to the business and looked at the vehicle. I parked my vehicle in the lot. There are no signs indicating where customers should park. I walked her on the lot by myself for about 10 minutes looking for the vehicle I was interested in. The only people in the lot where some car detailer Who were pressure washing vehicles. I walked around and looked at the vehicle for approximately 15 minutes. And then took a few photos of it with my camera phone. I still didn't see any sales associates. I walk to my vehicle and move the vehicle closer to the exit of the business.I waited to see if anyone would come out and greet me but no one did. based on the other yelp reviews and the initial greeting which did not occur at this dealership I nearly left. However I did like the look of the vehicle so I figured I should at least sit in it or drive it before I leave. I went out to the vehicle again and walked around it for several more minutes but still no sales associate ever came. I returned to my vehicle, made a phone call and then finally went inside to find my own sales associate. Even after I went inside I was completely ignored. I decided I would get a cup of coffee and then leave. I made eye contact with several sales associates but none of them ever asked me if I needed anything. Finally after getting my coffee I noticed someone who I thought was a sales associate I asked them if they were shorthanded and if they had anyone here who sold cars. This gentleman's name was Barry Brueckner. Barry asked me where I parked. I pointed to my vehicle and he said oh that is where our vehicles are delivered and that is why we didn't give you immediate customer service. I'm not sure how many dealerships receive into inventory a 2004 Honda a Santa Fe with personal tags on them?? Barry continued to babble and explain that he would be happy to help me however his tone was very insincere. Barry asked me to have a seat after we discussed the vehicle I was interested in just. I sat and waited for several minutes as he talk to other associates and finally went and got the keys and pulled the vehicle up to the front of the business. I went out and looked at it he had already started it, slightly cracked the driver side window and turned on the heated seats.Barry immediately began talking about how this dealership prices vehicles and several times told me he wanted me to appreciate how the vehicle was priced. Long story short I test drove the vehicle and told Barry I was interested in coming back for the vehicle tomorrow if we could work out a deal. We drop some initial paperwork and the dealership offered me an additional $250 off the proposed sticker sale price. This was somewhat unimpressive and I decided to take my paperwork and consider it overnight. After some thought, I called Barry back and we worked on the numbers over the phone. We came to an agreement and Barry told me the dealership could hold my check if I were waiting for funds to clear the bank. However he told me he could not pull the vehicle from inventory or hold it for me if I was not at the dealership in the morning. This was very inconvenient for me and took a great deal of logistics around my girlfriend's work schedule and children's school schedule (it happened to be an early release day). So I got my girlfriend to drop me off at the dealership right when Barry should have been coming into work. When I arrived I spoke with another associate who said Barry was late. We started to fill out the paperwork on the vehicle and everything was going fine.Barry finally showed up at work after all the paperwork is filled out by another associate. I asked the associate if the dealership would detail the car because it clearly had not been detailed the night before and he told me they would be happy to clean the vehicle up for me even if it was after the sale. Barry then told me I would have to clean the vehicle up myself. I wrote a check for the amount agreed upon. And several minutes later a manager and Barry came over and told me they would not be able to hold my check to let me receive the vehicle that day. I was been bullied into filling out a credit application. I was told this application if initially approved would allow me to take the vehicle home today. I was told the paperwork I filled out would be shredded once my check cleared the bank and authorization was given to cash it.I thought this was insane. However given the fact I was dropped off I needed a ride home. I filled out an initial credit application and the following application once approved I was not given any of that paperwork and it was stapled together. My check cleared the next day and they cashed it.
