  • Great new addition to the Scottsdale area. Love the location! It is a beautiful aquarium in a large space with lots of room to grow into it's own. Sure, there have been a few kinks to work out along the way, but as a lifetime member I have returned a few times since the grand opening and each time it improves. For those complaining about the price, it is right up there with other major attractions for families in any metropolitan area. Some thoughts on recent visits: I do wish that they will improve the touch pool (add more creatures). I really like the education and rescue activities that they do here. The sea turtles and sea lions have been rescued/rehabilitated, and that is wonderful! Also, the carousel is a great escape from the norm. It gives you a nice break from walking around. Last time we were there they had a few kids activities set up and that was great! We sat outside on the patio and ate while taking in the views of the McDowell Mtns. I'm looking forward to many more visits to the OdySea Aquarium. March 2017 I'm updating my review to 5 stars now that we have been there multiple times. They have continued to improve existing exhibits and are adding more and more exciting ones.
