Everything is easy at ChuChai because it's all vegan. I started with the Tom Kha soup with vegetables; it was just the right spice level and warm and comforting. Next, I split the mango, green apple and cashew salad with a friend. Served on a bed of greens, it was pretty tasty. Lastly, the pad Thai was good, but I'm generally a bit underwhelmed by mock meat. Next time, I'd order it with tofu only and skip out on the mock chicken and shrimp.
The restaurant itself is very nice, casual but beautiful and has fantastic service.
