I'll start with the positives about this place. I like how most teachers give a little "lesson" or quick story or talk at the beginning of each class. It's inspirational for me and sets the tone for the class, gets me thinking about things I normally wouldn't think about. I do like the chanting and i like the various "toys" they let you play with. I also like the little scented lotion rub at the end of the class, which is completely optional. I know those past few sentences make it sound like some sort of rub and tug hahaha.
All the staff I've encountered are extremely friendly and welcoming. I love how many class options they have as well. Their hours are amazing too.
Yes, there are a few quirks about this place that may not be so appealing. The change room is tiny and the space is awkward. The yoga rooms are kind of loud (bar downstairs and the main room faces Bloor St.) The classes are a bit slower in pace than other studios I've been to and not all the teachers push you as much. Also, I think they should really promote a "no talking in the yoga room" environment because I find a lot of people come in and have their gossip time on the mat which is kind of distracting and unfair to others.
Overall, sure, this place isn't the GREATEST yoga studio known to human kind, but there are some nice features about it as well.
