| - I live down the street from this place and had been wanting to try it for awhile.
The place was completely dead when I walked in, and it usually is when I drive by. No one was out to greet us, which I guess was okay because we had time to look at the flavors and decide without being stared down. When I ordered, the girl behind the counter didn't ask me if I wanted a cone or a cup, and she just put it in a cup. I then asked her if she had any cones-- I didn't want a cup. She said no, she hadn't had time to go get more cones and she had run out of them. At that point, I was ready to leave and not get anything from there--the girl was not friendly, she didn't care to tell me beforehand she was out of cones...I didn't want a cup of ice cream, I wanted a cone, and she was very rude in telling me that she didn't have any. My boyfriend is much nicer than I am, so he gave me a look that said, "just take it" and we stayed.
My boyfriend and I had no idea the place was a vegan ice cream shop until after we ordered. Maybe it's because I eat vegan food items pretty much never that I didn't really care for it. I ordered some type of chocolate flavor, and it did not taste...good. I ordered chocolate because I wanted a chocolately flavor, and it just wasn't what I was looking for. It was definitely not worth the price, especially since I'm not vegan.
