  • I was looking for unsalted peanuts since the airlines no longer offer nuts with their "complimentary beverage". At least not on US Airways, but heck, it was only going to be a little over an hour's flight back to SFO. I settled for unsalted cashews to the tune of $4 for a not so large bag. The Trident pack of gum came to $1.79 and a small bottle of OJ was over $3 when I can buy a 1/2 gallon of Minute Maid at Safeway. This Hudson News is a much smaller version located further down from Gate A3 where our plane was departing. Across the way is a hole in the wall Mexican diner and not much else in terms of food. At least the cashews tasted fresh.
