My buddies and I came here a random Wednesday night where it was dead. They ordered several combos while I had to look elsewhere on the menu since I was a vegetarian. Despite being envious of the sights and smells that came afterwards, I was happy with my order of veggie ramen and bimbimbap.
When the ramen first came, the noodles looked like they came from an instant ramen package. When I taste the salty sour broth though, I was happy and let the noodles continue soaking the broth and focus on my Sapporo. Once the noodles were completely hydrated, it was delicious.
So was my bimbimbap. I didn't notice any tofu and it didn't have an egg either but still flavourful without any obvious protein. Not only was my meal filling. It was cheap. My large ramen noodle bowl was about 6 dollars while my rice bowl was 8. I can't say no to large cheap portions of tasty food.
