This year is the second year we went as a family to go apple picking. We went both times after our thanksgiving celebration. For both years the farm ran out of gala apple which are the family favourite. But this year we asked and they mentioned it's because those fields open earlier then the rest of the orchids.
To much surprise we found what we call ambrosia apples which are similar to gala, just smaller in size as the rest of the apples left were baking apples and we all wanted eatting apples.
My finances sister bought the apple cider with strawberry that we all tried when we got home. It was very delicious, not to sweet it was just right.
There was plenty of parking but we also always go so early in the morning.
If you have young children, they will have a blast here, there is plenty if things for them to do, from pony rides to mazes to pumpkin picking. What a great way to spend time with the family :) ... see you again next year Downey
