| - Club cafe is essentially a large room with a bar that has a stage in it. For smaller crowds, sometimes there are cute little bistro tables out around the room, but for larger/sold out shows, they usually just keep the tables and chairs on the periphery and, of course, the dozen barstools. Even if you get there early, for a sold out show, just expect to stand.
It is a great place to just show up to and watch some good tunes. For example, on Monday nights there is Open Mic. Always a good time.
My only issue with Club Cafe is that it is in the South Side. And on weekend nights, (especially, if you are going to a late show) get there early, if only to find a parking spot (Street parking only). There are many restaurants surrounding it or just people watch.
Or use my go to: The Uber.
