| - This Good Earth was on my way to work a while back. As a non-morning person (and so as a person who skipped breakfast a lot), I would pop in for a coffee and a treat on a pretty regular basis. I would get either a latte or a plain coffee (decent and strong), and a white chocolate cranberry scone. I cannot describe to you how good that scone was. It was huge and delicious, nutty and cranberryie and white chocolatey.
I began "forgetting" breakfast more and more, and gradually my waistline grew. I was getting pudgy around the middle. I couldn't figure it out, as I tried to eat healthily and work out. With a sinking feeling and a sneaky suspicion, I checked out the nutritional information of the food at Good Earth. My scone was the equivalent of half of my daily nutritional needs in fat, calories and sugar! It was good, but it wasn't that good. I can't trust Good Earth food anymore (no matter how delicious), and so three stars.
On that note, their sandwiches are very tasty. They also serve mighty leaf tea, which is expensive but ridiculously delicious.
