  • If you are in Vegas, I would recommend the trip out there. It's only about 40 minutes away. It's cool to see something that is so massive and amazingly it was built in the 1930's without all the technology and equipment that we have today. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I had it in my head that is was much bigger. Not by any means am I saying it was not impressive. There were a lot of people their and we did not take the tour. I wanted to, but I was in the minority of our group. We parked a little further away, but it was free and you could better shots of the dam when up higher. I would like to go back once more and take the tour, otherwise once would be enough for me. So go check it out and see what you think. Be sure to let everyone else know your opinion because it helps.
