Actually started in Oakland when I picked up a car to drive home to Vegas after a tough nursing assignment at Highland Hospital's ER. I had left something in the car I rented to drive to Oakland and called four times to try to retrieve it. I won't bore you with the idiotic red tape trying to retrieve it (I was IN Oakland where it was) but finally was told I could get it when I picked up the car to go home.
Ha! The moron at the counter not only could not retrieve computer notes (what century us this ?) but told me it was his BREAK time and I'd have to wait for someone else - regardless of the fact I had a time sensitive contract.
Finally got the car. I'm 105 pounds and had two big suitcases - asked an Alamo employee in lot to help me - he was too busy. Car was horrible - no visibility driving home - get to Mccarran and Alamo rental return blocked off with cones and no instructions where to go. Five cars behind me. Removed a cone and we all drive through - tracked down some slob who yelled at me for not going to another car rental? Complained to guy who finally checked me out. Called FIVE times to complain - have a reference number. Promises each time a call back. I travel constantly for business - I can't believe the total lack of customer service! Don't use these idiots.
