| - I have eaten here twice now and both times have been very underwhelmed. I tried the fullmore (I think that was the name) and the pimento. My friends had the classic both times, they didn't like it either.
The deal breaker:
Here is what really made me not want to go back. As I was waiting in line (lunch time) I was watching the cooks, They had pre-cooked the patties, then stacked them on a heater/grill until they were needed. They then re-fired the patty and squirt a seasoning liquid on the patties. I observed the cooks for 5+ minutes, saw how they ran things. I did the math and my burger had been cooked about 20 minutes prior to it hitting my table. For a burger place, a place that really only does burgers, a place that calls itself "the burger company" this is ridiculous and poor form in any food establishment.
The result is a really dry patty, it is way overcooked, even for griddle style burgers where they typically cook them to well. The patty was warm.
The dry patty maybe compensated by good toppings, but I found the toppings to be just a solid good. on the fullmore I didn't like the bbq sauce (but that's a personal thing) on the pimento cheese the pimento cheese had been made into a spread of sorts, but was almost grainy and way over seasoned.
Customer Service.
I'd like to see another cashier during lunch, but that is minor. But otherwise good service, friendly staff, polite.
Sides:
Fries a solid good, sweet potato fries were very good, onion rings just OK.
