I've been gardening for 20 years. I plant all new every other season. This fall I decided to go to pike instead of Lowes to buy my plants.
I bought 23 cyclamen and 18 ornamental cabbages. The very first frost, every cyclamen died. They are supposed to live up to 20 degrees. It was barely 32. They wouldn't take them back, exchange them, nothing. They sent me away wasting $170. Lowes and Home Depot take back anything, although I've never had to.
Be warned. They do not care about their customers. The manager actually said, "gardening is a crap shoot". Unbelievable.
