After constantly shopping for furniture at places like mega furniture and Ashley... I had given up. Those places have pushy sales people, you order and they never deliver on time. The prices are outrageous and nothing is made like it used to be for the price you're paying.
That being said, I have passed this place a few times and sort of wrote it off as just another furniture place. NOT AT ALL WHAT YOU'D EXPECT. This place is the size of 6 ashley's put together. Everything is sort of compartmentalized into categories for you can clearly shop for what you came in for. You don't have to wander the whole store.
We came for end tables and found them :) Wonderful galvanized metal with reclaimed/rustic solid wood tops. These things are HEAVY. You touch them and they don't wiggle or give!!! They are wonderfully made and we are extremely impressed. I have not found anything wrong with them and I am sure they will last the test of time.
Our sales gal was not pushy at all, very helpful and she told us things that helps us to make our decisions. We didn't have to ask and she just told us things like "that doesn't sell well", "That looks nice now but it may not be well made", "This is solid wood", "This is really durable material", "this material is not what you think it is", etc. It really helped us out and we appreciated the candor.
I did see some cheaper made furniture, nothing worse than what you find at mega furniture but MUCH BETTER THAN IKEA. I saw unique styles and a wide selection. I also saw a lot of stuff that was made by Ashley at a much lower price. They have furniture for every budget. To all of the people who are complaining about having bought cheap furniture that didn't hold up... maybe you just have cheap taste? If you only paid 500 dollars for a king sized bed made of wood... what did you think you were getting?
