After reading the reviews for this place I decided to give it a try and book a couples massage for myself and my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. I was so excited to do this with him since he has never had a massage before. We showed up early for our 5pm appointment on Saturday only to be sorely disappointed and find out they only booked it for one person, me. I specifically asked for the massage to be a couples massage and even answered questions pertaining to a massage for two instead of one (i.e. Would you like the massages to be in the same room? What is his name? What is his cell phone number so we can send text confirmations? Swedish or deep tissue for his massage?). Even worse than going in and finding out the one thing I had planned for our special day was ruined, was that the lady at the front desk didn't really try to help, she offered a later time, but the scheduled appointment was scheduled for a reason. Sure, she apologized, but then said she would email her manager and they would probably reach out to me to offer me something. Being a manager in the hospitality industry I understand that mistakes happen, but something should be done to make things right. I have not heard from her manager, which makes me wonder if she will even inform them of what happened. The only thing she could do for me then and there was let me know she would cancel my appointment and not charge me, well I would certainly expect that. I will make sure that if guests at my hotel are looking for somewhere to receive a massage that I find somewhere else to recommend.
