| - Don't buy your new Volkswagen at San Tan VW!!! The staff initially comes off very pleasant, but once you commit to your new vehicle, it's ALL downhill from there. On my second visit, I purchased a new 2015 TDI SEL Passat, which the salesman, Mike Yozzo, insisted that I take home that day. The car was nowhere ready to be delivered, as it was still dirty from sitting on the lot. However, the dealership still insisted that I take it, because they are TOO AFRAID to lose a sale, which I can understand with how they treat their customers.
It is my assumption, when buying a new car, that it looks new when you drive off of the lot. Well, that was not the case. Firstly, the dealer had several supposedly "dealer installed" additions listed to hike the price of the car. Well, the window tint was installed and that was it. Therefore, the vehicle needed to return to have the balance of the items installed. Secondly, the water that the dealership uses to wash the vehicles while on display is hard water, thus leaving spots all over the vehicles. I pointed this out during the delivery and Mike had stated that this was not a problem and would be corrected when I returned to have the additional accessories installed, that I didn't even need. Well, the vehicle has been brought back to San Tan VW 3 times now and there are still hard water stains on all exterior windows and the mirrors. Mike offered a free tank of fuel, to compensate for the inconvenience. Upon returning at an agreed time to receive the tank of fuel, I was told that there was nothing that they could do, as the porter for the dealership was in Scottsdale and nobody else at the dealership had a fuel card. Keep in mind, that this is now my forth trip to the dealership, which is a 20 minute trip each way from my home. Now I'm furious, as this is just another wasted trip to this horrible establishment. I informed Mike that I would never buy another vehicle from their dealer and will select a different VW dealer for my service, all he could say was "sorry to hear that." Obviously, San Tan VW and Mike Yozzo do not care for their customers, as I now have to suffer with the appearance of my new Passat or go pay an independent detailer several hundred dollars, to clean a vehicle that now has 550 miles on it.
Overall, my experience with this San Tan VW was horrible and I highly recommend that you buy your new VW elsewhere.
