| - MOGC is a cozy café tucked away from Queen street, while still being very accessible by transit. It's not at all hard to find!
The coffee is great, and they have a beautiful variety to take home as well. I didn't take anything to go, but I'll try it next time. The collection of baked goods were limited during my visit, which means I will need to make it in earlier. I had the vegan gluten free brownie made with chickpea flower and peanut butter, and it was delicious! It didn't even taste "healthy", and paired so nicely with my Americano. They seemed to have a few healthy options in the baked goodies display, so brownie points for that!
Coffee and cookies aside, it's a great spot to get work done. It's rustic, cozy, bright and spacious enough that it helps with the noise, and you don't feel crammed in. If you don't mind the crooked floors (I mean, crooked enough for me to feel "off" while sitting at a table) and the wobbly tables/chairs, it's actually a great work space! My only issue was the internet... it was painfully slow during my recent visit. Maybe it was the busy day, I can't say.
The service was fine - I didn't have any expectations. I'll definitely return, and hopefully I will get one of those cozy tables in the corner.
