| - Went to this neurologist for about 6 months for a seizure disorder. At first I loved him. He seemed genuinely concerned for me and my health. But things changed pretty quick. Phone calls wouldn't get returned. Referrals wouldn't get sent. The only ones in the office that ever did anything for me were Beverly and Yunie. His MA Dealina is good at returning calls, but its usually late that day or the next day. When my one medication levels weren't where they were supposed to be he increased the dose. I went back a month later and instead of rechecking the levels, he just switched the medication. I thought this was weird, but he's the doctor. Then, I went in for some testing ordere by my spine surgeon and Dr. Milford didnt even realize I was his patient! How could you not realize I had been seeing you once a month for six months?!?!?! Beverly had to tell him I was his patient! On my last follow up, I mention some issues I'm having with side effects due to the new medication and he basically called me a liar. I had a log to prove what I was saying and he didnt even want to look at it. I also, mentioned to him that I was filing for disability due to my spinal condition and that I will no longer be able to work as a CNA. We finish up with my appointment. He tells me to follow up in a month. Next thing I know, I'm getting a letter in the mail discharging me from his care. Come to find out, this is pretty common practice for him! He doesn't like to care for patients that are receiving social security. If he finds out you are on or are going to be filing for social security, he discharges you from care. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. If you need a neurologist, I would steer clear of them, especially if you are looking to go on any type of disability or need any forms filled out because he will discharge you in a second!!!
