The New Yorker was my go-to for a cheap breakfast way back in University. Not a lot has changed, despite a recent renovation. I was here for breakfast on the weekend. The New Yorker is still pumping out above-average breakfast standards. Large bacon and egg combos come with toast, and make sure to get the home fries. Meats are roasted in house and sliced thin at the front counter, not brought in pre-packaged.
For the first time, I got the French Toast for the kids. It might not be for everyone, but it was incredible. Thick slices of toast are dipped and deep-fried, so there's a crisp outer coating. Almost verging on donut territory. Definitely will order next time.
