  • With so many model train stores closing in The Valley, Papa Dan is a last of a dying breed. Drove past here yesterday and decided to stop for a visit - year end/ post Christmas sales and all. They have a nice selection of Walthers, Bachmann and other branded models, including scenery buildings from scratch, to pre-made in "O", "HO", "S" and "N" gauge. Papa Dan also has a small selection of model airplanes, ships and remote control/radio controlled cars, etc. All prices seem to be full retail, but normally you don't see much discounting in this hobby area. Three Stars, "A-Okay"
