The value of this place is absurd.
Came here for dinner given that I'd had cheese curds before and wanted to try something new.
Ordered 2 entrees: the curry chicken and the Tunisian Spinach Stew.
Both dishes come with a soup/salad AND a basket of a naan/pita thing with chutney. The dish itself is also bigger than the size of your head...so yeah, TONS of food.
While the chicken was extremely buttery and tender, both dishes lacked, surprisingly, flavor. Perhaps I am ignorant and that's just how they season their food, but I thought both were under-salted and missed some of those curry spices that I'd been expecting at the very least.
The soup actually was more flavorful than either entree, and the rice was saltier than anything else I ate that nice...hmm.
All in all, three stars because what Kabul lacks in taste it makes up for in value...so being located in a college town really has a lot going for them. Also, the taste wasn't bad...it just didn't knock my socks off.
