While our purchasing experience was positive (we bought 2 new vehicles here within the past 12 months) our experience with the service department has been horrific. Most recently they completed an inspection of the sliding doors related to the recall which has resulted in a loud grinding noise when operating. They are also refusing to complete a repair to a leaking oil line identified at another Toyota dealership when I was recently out of town. The service agent's attempt to throw blame at his fellow mechanic was completely unprofessional and has shaken my confidence in Toyota at this point. The mechanic who identified the leak explained that it was a small leak and may not reaccumulate for a time but that the line should be replaced now. Yet Toyota of Surprise won't trust another Toyota mechanic and and do the appropriate preventative measure by taking his word and replacing this part? I find this appalling.
