I want to love this place.
I was thrilled with the buggies with spots for two kiddos, and the store is gorgeous, such that I can imagine meeting a friend there for a coffee when the kids are otherwise occupied.
Selection was outstanding, but there were a few bumps in the road.
At the hot food counter I had questions about the heat level of the curries (could my kids eat it?). Now I don't expect you to know my kids' palette but I don't expect to hear "I don't know I haven't tried it " from the four people behind the counter. I get that everyone is new, but this was a great opportunity for them to try it, or offer me a taste.
Baked goods looked incredible but the chocolate croissants were not made with butter and tasted worse than what I would have expected from day olds from superstore.
Staff was eager and friendly, but this swanky spot has created high expectations.
Big ups for putting the store in the North :)
