  • Bluegreen Not impressed with our room or the whole reservation department. Maybe I just have high standards from working in reservations at a resort, but here's where I was left with a bad taste in my mouth... When we made our original reservation, we were told we would be getting a 2 bedroom suite. Then a week before when I had to call and confirm, I was told a 1 bedroom. THEN when we got here, it's a studio! I felt claustrophobic. We had planned on our son sleeping on the pull out but after seeing it, there was no way he was going to sleep well next to the front door where people are walking by. Also, No washer and dryer as we were told more than once. This isn't a big deal for some, but for one, I didn't pack enough clothes to not do laundry and we have a toddler! They offer laundry service, which we used, but that made me incredibly uncomfortable. Call me crazy, but I hate to have someone else do my laundry. Barbara took care of it for us, she was very timely with getting us fresh towels as well. I really appreciated it. Also our place was pretty clean, I did check for bed bugs after reading other reviews! No bed bugs here! But I will say, HOLY cow, the bed is completely uncomfortable. It's like a rock with a 1" mattress pad on it. I woke up with a big bruise on my side! Also, we didn't mind the airplane noise either. My son loved the 5th floor view of the planes going over. Then again, we are an Air Force family and these noises don't phase us in the least. Also, we never heard a peep from any of our neighbors so I didn't experience these thin walls as people stated. But I can agree, the water pressure in the shower could use improvement. If you drive in to Vegas, or rent a car, the strip is not far and parking is free everywhere! Love that! Another positive, the bellhop guys were really friendly and probably the nicest of everyone we met there. We bought our package through the bluegreen rep at bass pro. So we had to go to the presentation. Egipsia was our sales rep and she was very sweet. She was not pushy at all. Maybe it helped our case in not buying since we are a young family and I am 7 months pregnant. I just felt like, if you're going to try to sell someone a timeshare, or whatever you want to call it, IMPRESS THEM on arrival. I immediately was disappointed with the studio we were assigned, after all these faulty promises. Why would I want to spend 12 grand as a DOWNPAYMENT on a company that is full of loop holes?! Yuck! At the end of the day, we paid $199 for 4 nights and recieved $125 in bps gift cards. I seriously can not complain. And I would not complain to the front desk about these things either. Let's just be realistic here lol I can only laugh about what a joke their marketing schemes are.
