Entire stay began poorly. After missing a flight and missing stand by(s) my wife and I decided to get a room instead of staying in the airport. I wanted a relaxing -stress less hotel but selected the wrong doubletree! I called for a shuttle was informed it would be 10-15min. After standing at the curb for 35min, I called back and was again informed it would be 10-15min. A driver was being dispatched now. After waiting another 30min I called back and was informed that the driver should be arriving any moment.. 'He had been held up by another guest that had the wrong terminal'.
I never received any apology by any staff, or even the Mgr.that was at the front desk when we checked in. We then we given a room next to the elevator and street, which we quickly requested a change.
The room is nice, but if you are expecting a Typical Doubletree experience...this is not the property! Especially as we noticed the Mgr looking/searching at his phone as we left the bar/restaurant.
Poor customer service!
